Cookie and local-storage policy · Updated 18 August 2026
Essential by default. Optional means optional.
Dant3 uses cookies and equivalent browser storage to keep the service secure, remember settings and—only after consent—measure how the product is used. Rejecting optional categories does not block ordinary access to public content.
1. Cookies and equivalent storage
A cookie is a small browser record. Dant3 also uses local storage and similar technologies for functions such as consent, theme and session state. The same rules on purpose and choice apply regardless of the storage mechanism.
2. Essential storage
Essential storage supports sign-in and session continuity, security and abuse prevention, routing, consent records, accessibility or interface preferences and other functions required to provide the service you requested. It cannot be disabled through Dant3’s consent panel because the affected feature would not work reliably or securely without it.
Dant3’s signed-out guest compatibility endpoint does not create a persistent IP or device fingerprint, read an IP header or user agent, or write a visitor record to the database.
3. Analytics — Microsoft Clarity
Analytics is off by default. After you enable the Analytics category, Dant3 may load Microsoft Clarity to understand page interaction, navigation friction and product performance. Clarity may process pseudonymous device, browser and interaction data and may provide heatmaps or session-experience records. Dant3 configures Clarity with advertising storage denied.
Withdrawing Analytics consent tells Clarity that analytics storage is denied and prevents Dant3 from loading the script on future page loads. Microsoft’s own retention and privacy terms apply to data already processed by that service.
4. Marketing and advertising status
If you enable Marketing, the standalone Monetag banner may load on desktop, tablet and mobile web. Monetag may process your IP address, browser or device details, page URL, consent signals and ad interactions to select, deliver, measure and protect advertising under Monetag's own terms. The script stays off for confirmed Pro accounts, excluded account/private routes and automated traffic. Dant3 publishes its Google seller record at /ads.txtwhile AdSense remains configured for Google's separate site review and is not stacked with Monetag.
A clearly labelled affiliate link may take you to an external provider. Dant3 does not send your Dant3 account data with that click, but the destination receives the normal web request and applies its own privacy rules. Mobile browsers use the same responsive web banner integration. A packaged native app uses the separate Google AdMob/UMP release path; the web tag is not copied into the bundled app runtime.
5. Your choices
The first consent panel gives equal access to Accept all, Reject all and category controls. Your decision is stored locally with a timestamp and policy version. You can reopen the panel from this page and change your choice at any time. If Dant3 changes a material purpose or adds a provider that requires consent, the policy version can be changed so a fresh choice is requested.
6. Retention
Session and security storage lasts only as long as needed for the relevant session or control. Your Dant3 consent record remains in local storage until you clear it, change your choice or Dant3 changes the policy version. Optional provider cookies and identifiers follow the provider’s stated retention period and are not created by Dant3 before the relevant consent is given.
7. International processing
Dant3 and its providers may process technical and consent data in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, United States or another disclosed location. Where required, Dant3 relies on an adequacy decision, contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism. See the consolidated Privacy Notice for the provider register and further details.
